Hi, I’m Adriann
I am a living, breathing example of a woman who discovered her true self later in life.
At the age of 49, I was diagnosed with ADHD and OCD while also navigating the joys and challenges of menopause. No wonder I struggled to tackle daily tasks—brain fog, living in fight-or-flight mode, and the constant fear of failure coupled with the relentless drive to be “perfect” in every role I played: employee, partner, mother, friend, and child. I didn’t initially recognize these struggles because I am high-masking, high-functioning, and naturally have a “glass half full” mentality. There were no glaring signs, no big flashing billboards telling me something was wrong.
Despite going above and beyond in every role, I reached my 40s and realized my gas tank was not just empty—I was facing the mental and physical toll of years of neglecting my own needs. I knew something had to change.
Slowly but surely, I began a journey of self-discovery and self-care. I learned to take baby steps to nurture myself and prioritize what truly matters.
For me, this meant embracing outdoor and nature-based exercise, reassessing my diet, and researching supplements to support my well-being. It also meant confronting Imposter Syndrome and the negative self-talk that had been holding me back. I actively worked to shift my mindset and started doing things I previously thought of as “selfish” but now understand are essential to feeding my own needs and desires for a fulfilling life.
Helping others has always been my passion, and I realized my dream life includes coaching others to break free from burnout and design the lives they deserve.
To make this dream a reality, I earned a 3 Vital Questions (3VQ) trainer certification from the Center for The Empowerment Dynamic in 2017. Wanting to further my expertise, I chose to pursue training at an International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited school to achieve ICF credentialing.
After months of research, I selected Erickson Coaching International (ECI) for their Essentials and Advanced programs, which will allow me to achieve ICF PCC credentials. I am also pursuing their Team Coaching Essentials and Advanced courses to specialize in group coaching. I am incredibly proud to share that Erickson Coaching International received the ICF Distinguished Coaching Educator Award in 2024, the first year this award was presented.
